We’re a local premium specialty meat shop in North Scottsdale, located on Shea Blvd and the 101 freeway. We sell beef, chicken, pork, seafood, wild game, and a plethora of other little goodies you cannot find anywhere else.
“Meat” the Owners
Paul and Colleen are both Midwest natives, with Colleen growing up in the northern suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, and Paul in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.
After 23 years in retail and several business ventures, Paul returned to his roots by opening his own Specialty Meat Shop, offering quality meats, cheeses, spices, unique treats, candy, soda, water, and much more.
Their faith and family are at the heart of their lives. They are blessed with six adult children, two grandsons, and their Bernedoodle, Charlotte. When they’re not working, they enjoy pickleball, ’80s music, and the occasional Arizona escape to Newport Beach or San Diego.

The best meat shop in Scottsdale and that I’ve found in the valley! Truly organic, the quality is off the charts, and Paul, the owner, is amazing. My family doesn’t even want to go out to elite steakhouses, as they ask me to grill filets and ribeyes from Desert Sky! Do yourself a favor and stop into Desert Sky meat shop!
Decided to swing by on a whim, glad I did. Huge selection of meats, from your standard ribeye and filet mignon to exotic meats like alligator and ostrich. Lots of hot sauces and spices and rubs as well. The daughter of the owners makes her own sourdough bread so I grabbed a loaf of that. Decided to try some andouille sausage, pickles, cheese and some dog treats. The dogs are fans. Really well laid-out store with a great layout and a huge selection. Met Paul the owner, I’ll be back!

We have been buying meat here for about 6 months and I will tell you, we can’t get it anywhere else! The owners are so kind and helpful, and their meat and other products are truly top tier. I always have to grab my spicy dilly beans when I’m in as well. Cannot beat their prices and quality!!
What a beautiful selection of meat, fish, and cheese. The filet I selected was mouth-watering. I am fortunate that I live down the street from this place. This store is a must-try, and you will never go to a supermarket again for your meat.

This place is really good and we have been customers since it opened and have not been disappointed. Friendly service. Nice owners. Good pricing and great selection. Beef lamb pork chicken sausages fish – all have been great. Lucky to have such a great local business close by.
Great prices, excellent quality, great service. Easy to get to from the 101. Highly recommend these guys. Super quick in-and-out, way easier than going to a grocery store and higher quality selection.
